Feeling the power of the poles

Now you have the poles in your hands, this simple static drill will help you to feel the difference between the upper body engagement achieved with the triangle action as opposed to a square one.

Remember that you will be seeking forward propulsion and as much upper body engagement as possible from your poles – take time to feel how that changes between square and triangle arm positions.

Pay particular attention to your CORE and POSTURE and think how that will translate when walking.
